Day 3/365

Nothing says 'Australian winter' more than living in an old Sydney terrace house that's colder inside than it is outside! So here is me sporting a Ken Done anorak complete with a waist draw-string and gold baubles! Ken's anorak, with my recycled sock gloves, keep my fingers warm and my mind working as I tap out the final draft of my thesis.

how did you make those gloves?

Ah. A trusty old pair of socks, but clean, yeah? Cut them off at the ankle, just above the heel. Get rid off the sole bit. And then the remaining sock fabric becomes the glove area for you wrist, and you cut a small hole for your thumb. No need for fingerless gloves that cost $20 bucks, thank you very *much*
