Day 139/365: Zoning my Mom's 1980s style...

Hoop earrings from Santa Barbara, necklace by Iain, other necklace from an op-shop, vintage 80s 'Cuddles' Australian jumpsuit, Ken Done bag donated by Cousin Christine, Tatty Devine paper-slip bracelet, vintage bakelite bracelet, Fluevog shoes (from Sole Devotion).

After talking about my Mom a few days ago, I thought I would share just how *good* she looked in the 80s. Not only that, I also thought I'd pay homage a little to her style: so here's me in my very own jumpsuit too. Mine is clearly WAY more Ken Done-esque. Now if only I could get a perm...

(And I don't know about you, but as I kid I always thought my Mom looked a lot like Joanie from Happy Days. For years I was convinced she was Joanie and hiding her 'true' past from me!)

So let me get this right:

Get a perm, AND Keep up the Quick Look Book.

I think I can agree to at least one of these *good* ideas!

Thanks for the support. (And yes, my Mom is *beautiful* isn't she? :-) )
