I thought, dear readers, you might like to know that as I left the house this morning, a cockatoo perched on a tree above me crapped on my vintage Anthea Crawford... yet I remained smiling. Why? 1) A bird poo-ing on you is universally accepted as meaning *good* luck (!!) and 2) thanks to Anthea's 1980's design - you couldn't even see where the poo actually was!! :-)

The bird probably thought that is what it was meant to do with that outfit...

Goodness, I thought this was a Qantas flight attendant's outfit from the early 1908s.

and I can say that Jackie was still wearing this neckpiece in the evening. You must have the most tolerant work place.

Oh my. must have been the 'necklace' he mistook it for paper in the bottom of the cage. Sorry, your first KD I didn't think looked fantastic. HOwever, the Anthea C looks great.

The calendar neck piece is so outrageous. I love it! Brilliant! I'm sure you got some excellent reactions to that little baby!

Trust a hand-crafted paper necklace to help divide comments amongst you all, dear readers. I did think there was some significance in the bird poo story as well... and again, love that some of you thought it was *me* that confused the cockatoo with such an outrageous outfit. :-)

FYI: a lovely man I work with seriously said to me, "I bow at your altar" when he saw the necklace... so I am very *lucky* my workplace colleagues know how to have fun!!

Thanks too on helping me to reach my target - together I know we can do it! And if not, there will be more of these paper necklaces coming... eeek!!
