Day 282/365: When we welcome people as friends...

Ken Done glasses, scarf from Japan (but found in op shop in Australia), Ken Done top and same pattern leggings (donated by Ken & Judy Done) - leggings worn here and top worn here - Fluevogs, Ken Done vintage cup donated by Deidre & Iain.

Well I am going to *enjoy* the cups of coffee and tea that pour forth from this vintage Ken Done cup today. This is a donation from Alex's Mum and Dad, Deidre and Iain (and they've already donated a KD scarf before too). I grew up with Alex, and we've known each other for such a long time that I'm well honoured to have his whole family now participating in What Ken Be Done?! Plus, Deidre wrote and told me about how she and her local community are working with Dinka Sudanese people now living in her area. And don't we all know how welcoming a friendly cup of tea, and a smile can be when we arrive in a new place?

Jackie. You cannot be wearing a mug. Try again.

I'd argue that you do wear it... 'round your fingers. Then again, I am slightly biased - it's my folks' mug. Alex.

Steve: Thanks for your comment, but I think I'm with Alex too... this was *wearing* a mug. Plus, when something is donated to WKBD, I've got to find new ways to make it work, and OHS says this couldn't be an earring!!

Alex: thanks for your 'non-biased' and completely *lovely* comment... clearly you can see my fashion working here... I guess that's what happens when you've known a person for over 20+years!!
