Day 292/365: Socks and Sandals on a Saturday

Vintage Sunski glasses, hand-knitted scarf, Ken Done brushed 100% cotton jumper donated by Cousin Christine, vintage skirt from op shop, Levante tights, Happy Socks, Pedro Garcia sandals.

The trend of socks with sandals tends to divide public opinion. I'm unashamedly on the side which deems this look *good*. And today it feels extra special because I've finally been able to pick up a whole lot of Happy Socks on sale. It's a *good* Saturday when you can crack open new socks, and new sandals... AND, then I get to match it with this brushed 100% cotton Ken Done jumper, donated by Cousin Christine. It even has front pockets; nice. The sun may not be shining in Sydney, but it sure feels like it is with this jumper!! xo

I am not a big fan of socks and sandals, although I acknowledge their practical benefits. However, what I would really like to praise is how your coloured toes and heel on the sock work perfectly with the strap of your sandals.
Now, that is innovation worthy of celebration!

David: It's that kind of attention to detail that I *love* when people notice. Mwah! xo

Lyndel and Anon: You mean I could wear this outfit in Milan, and no one would raise an eyebrow?!! ;-)

I am a fan on socks and sandals- especially very very humid places were your feet turn to pulp too quickly.

You may look out of place in Milan but i reckon no one would bat an eyelid in Berlin!
