Day 307/365

Phew, it's been a busy 1980s day!

I know it's a Sunday, but I'll have you know I started the day off by doing a quick spot of temping for a chief-staffer at Old Parliament House...
Here's the lady I was covering for. We're best mates from way back in the 1980s. You can tell this because we both have Ken Done jumpers. She's partial to leather pants, but she also likes leopard-print Versace jeans like me too...
I couldn't find Bob Hawke in the building, but I did spot his mug on the telly in his office...
Naturally, with so much on today, I had to have my trusty Ken Done tote at all times...
Yep, it's really been a Canberra 1980s Festival this weekend...
But all weekends must come to end... Good-bye Canberra, and hello Sydney...
But not before a stop to the aptly named town of Collector. After all, I guess after 307 days of What Ken Be Done, I qualify as a collector myself, yes?!!
Vintage Sunski glasses, earrings from Japan, vintage 1980s Escada jacket, 'Canberra Festival 1987' brooch found in the Fyshwick Salvos, vintage Versace jeans found in Perth op shop, Fluevogs, Ken Done tote (WKBD Collection).

I hope your weekend was a *good* one too xo xo

It looks like Ken's lurking in the background behind your friend in the leather pants.

Birdmonkey: Full props got to the LiP for finding the Ken Done lady in the photo. I was so stoked when I worked out she REALLY was wearing KD - hilarious! And thanks for the compliment, I love this Escada jacket too - it *screams* 1980s!!

Lyndel: I know, I felt almost at *home* in all the 1980s paraphernalia!! Ah, yes, the fashion: GOLD!

Doc: Ah yes, the smile on my face is genuine all the way - we had such fun carving it up 1980s style in the 'Berra - and how could I pass up the Collector opportunity?! xo

Chris: I know! *Good* spotting! And LONG LIVE the 1980s moustache! :-<)
