Day 328/365

Another Sunday, another pair of *wonderful* Ken Done bike pants...

My JOY of all the bike pants** Cousin Christine has donated is exactly equal in measure to the amount of DISTURBANCE it causes the LiP to be seen with me wearing them in public. Perfect!
Ken Done glasses, (probably-fake) Ken Done tote bag, Simona Sport top from second-hand store in Newtown, Ken Done bike pants donated by Cousin Christine, legwarmers, Fluevogs, Gummi bear ring present from Iain.

**Relive the Ken Done bike pants *fun* so far here!

And speaking of reliving Ken Done glory - why don't you be a part of the story too? Please check out the *good* buying to be had at the What Ken Be Done? eBay charity site.

Are those pink glasses fake? How has that come to light this late in the project?

Now Birdmonkey, are you trying to spread rumours?! :-)

Let the record show all the Ken Done glasses I wear are prescribed and worn by me all the time (another one to ask my work colleagues)...

The only exception were the new black ones worn yesterday (that's just cause I've run out of money to get my prescription put in at the moment!).

are sorry just double checked your description and see that the tote bag is a probable fake- not the glasses.. no rumour starting just bad reading

Today's outfit is the closest complete 'look' that I reckon I have seen that would allow you to be superimposed (thanks Photoshop) into the fashion icons picture that you have had on the side of your blog since you began this journey. Wow, it has taken nearly a whole year, but you could definitely hold your own on a stage with them. Great work...but I somehow doubt the bike pant fashion is something those designers are quite ready to embrace just yet!

I actually think these bike pants aren't too bad- like the blue ones you wore recently they have enough all over colour and pattern to become something interesting- unlike those ones you wore in January which were essentially white.... a great big expanse of white on the thighs now that is brave!

Timms: Is the description of *brave* just another way of saying *1980s fashion*? Much of the time, I kind of think so! Or is a better word *shameless*?!!

Doc: Oh yes, the ring is a winner! I like how it actually looks like teeth, as much as children's treats! xo

Anon x 1: Bike pants ROCK! You Can Ring My Bell!

Anon x 2: What a thoughtful comment. I like the idea that you describe it as a "complete look" and not just as 1980s matchy-matchy!! Thanks for reflective contribution xo

Lyndel: Ah, I aim to please! I mean we can't have 'Bleeding Eyes' every day now can we?!

Birdmonkey: I TOTALLY agree... these bike pants are really lovely, the pattern is friendly and vibrant and I think lots of people could get away with wearing them, and even making it look good. I tell you what, we'll put it to the eBay challenge and see what happens :-)
